This is the forth in a series of twelve prints, each representing a month of the year. Together, they depict the rhythms of English country life, following the seasons and the everyday labours of rural communities. Each image was originally accompanied by a short narrative written by Clare Leighton herself.

Though the scenes are drawn from various counties across southern England, they are presented as part of a broader, almost timeless cycle-where the rituals of rural labour mirror the inevitable turning of the seasons.

Giclée print, limited edition (1/850), printed on 310gsm, 100% cotton rag with hand-deckled edges. Each print is hand-numbered and hand-embossed.
