Svetlana's work have been exhibited in the leading museums of Moscow and St. Petersburg. She has been awarded the "Best woman sculptor of Russia" (2004) and "Best young sculptor younger under the age of 33". Two of her works were selected by the Hermitage and many of them are in respectable private collections.
Since the art environment in her country was not the best place for a spirited, striving and forthright creator to succeed, Svetlana sets off on a quest. She was awarded a residency at the famous Cité des Arts in Paris where she worked for a few months. Leaving Paris she comes to London, and studied at Camberwell College of Arts, where she obtained an MA. The focus of her work at Camberwell was "Global Reloading" regarding the new stage in the evolution of mankind. She produced a series of provocative and deeply philosophical photographs.
Svetlana's work has also been short-listed in 100 best works by Royal Academy of Arts. She continues to live and work in Lewes, East Sussex.
